Using Core Temp with Vista

I'm dualbooting XP and Vista. I idle at 37-39 on XP, yet that is 50 on Vista for some reason. Then under load with Orthos, it is 45-47 on XP and 55 on Vista.

What is causing the difference?

Also, in XP it reads correctly that my speed is 244x9 for 2196 clock speed.
Vista says it is 366x6 for 2196.

I would guess the XP readings are all correct, but has anyone else heard of this?

There's a known problem with CoreTemp and Vista. If you are using VISTA use a different program other than CoreTemp.
