Using cell phone and phone card?

So I have T-mobile. I was using something similar to a phone card to call international. Basically, I buy minutes, dial a toll-free number, then dial the number that I wanted to call.

However, T-mobile charged me for the call. So basically, even if I dial through the toll-free number, I still get charge for the international call?

Don't press the talk or phone button after you dial. There is no way for T-Mobile to charge you unless you did that. I have made thousands of International calls using T-Mobile and a phoneservice or card. Never been charged except for the minutes I used.

I don't understand what you mean. Don't press the talk or phone button?

Anyway, I called them up and they refunded me.

On my US Cellular account I used a phone card to call Europe allthe time with no charges. I buy my phone cards at Costco.
