Yeh it's kinda lame. ALways made me nervous that maybe some spammer could just start bombing me with SMS msgs.

I know my verizon plan hits me $0.02 for each one I receive and $0.10 for each that I send using my phone

I have AT&T and i always believed it was free to receive text messages and 10 cents to send.

yeah i just did it, +(then number) i didn;t put a 1 infront, and it worked for me, it worked with and without a 1 infront, this is awsome

i'm sorry i'm a little slow i guess, how does this work? when i try adding a buddy w/ '+phonenumber', my buddy list automatically removes it. what am i doing wrong?

If you add something to the buddy list and it disappears... probably means you've reached the max. number of people in your buddy list - 200.
