Using AIM to send text messages to your friends cell phones...

Its been around for awhile,

Just add a new buddy with the name '+1<phonenumber)'

The past few days though, it seems to have stopped working... Is it just me, or is it not working for anyone?

Don't know about the text messaging but can you use AIM to communicate with ICQ also? I noticed if you add a number for a screen name it automatically adds a '-ICQ' to the end.

Doesn't work for me..it says invalid character.

Do I just send a message to:

It was workin fine until a few days ago...

Now when i sent a message to the mobile buddy, it just does nothing.... Where as it used to send me a message saying 'blah blah blah... cannot reply'

it doesn't stay on my buddy list after i close the "edit buddy list" window.

ive been using it for months, its free, the only bill you might inccur is the cost for the actual text message to your phone (various depending on provider/plan)

All of mine are free 😀

Know what sucks.....

People can run your bill up. I know I have to pay for each message I receive so people could just spam me with messages.

I think it blows that I have to pay to receive a txt message.
