Ok my laptop gets a strong signal from the stadium next to me. Its a extremal fast connection and its free so i want to stream it though my entire network from 1 of my pc.

Advice on wat i will need will be much appreciated.

I went out and bought a 802.11g card for my pc.

So i figure all i have to do it stick it in run cable from my enet card on same pc to my router and thats it ?

Advice please

If your router is wireless and compatible with DD-WRT, you should be able to install the DD-WRT firmware (be careful and follow the instructions), and use it in Client Mode.

i think you guys are confused here.

Their is a free wireless net in the air.

Today i bought a 802.11g wireless card and it picks it up fine ( posting on it now )

Wat i want to do is share this connection with the rest of the network that is in my office. The network is a wired network. So im basically just wanting to replace my DSL which is much slower with this free Net.

I tried bridging my network card and my wireless card but that dosent seem to work.

it may be setup to not allow you to do this.

It sure sounds unethical/illegal to me. You should really contact them before attempting any of this or possibly face the legal ramifications.

Did you called the Source and they told that it is Free?

Or, in your Dictionary lack of security means Free.
