If you want to heat something for 1 minute, do you type 1:00 or 60??

I used to type 1:00, but the 60 saves a keystroke. ;)

Mine works either way. I usually use 2 digits as much as I can.

Yes, I am a lazy bastard and I get to do a little arithmetic.

I put in 60 because if I put in 1:00 it would be too long and all my food would get too hot.

I hit "66" It's even faster than "60." If I need to heat something for 3.5 mins, I just hit "333." My laziness knows no bounds.

my microwave has two automatic start buttons; one for 1:15 and another for 2:45. most things get nuked at one of those two because then i only have to push the one button. :)

I wouldn't know, I get my Mum to do ALL my cooking ;)

She knows her place. And if she ever starts shouting at me from the kitchen, I'll shorten her damned chain!

I'm good with my microwave. I got the hang of it and I can type it really fast.

I can even set the power to 30%, put it for 3:45 and start in 10sec.
