using a laptop on your lap. Not good for your family jewels?

Heat is not unbearable but it gets pretty hot sometimes. And if they think cell phones might cause cancer does a laptop pose the same problem for that area?

I've never used a laptop on my lap long enough to be worried about the heat. And I don't think laptops are capable of putting out ionizing radiation, neither are cell phones for that matter.

If I recall correctly, a study a year or two ago found that there was risk for men who use laptops...on their lap.

The risk was in the proximity of that amount of heat for prolonged periods - it basically lowered sperm count.
