it worked out pretty well.
the neighbor's smokey bar-BQ boyfriend moved in.
the neighbor gave her parking spot to Smokey, and parked her
car in the space that was rented by another neighbor for his
land-scaping business.
one morning there's a colossal "thud". just the landscape guy
trying to maneuver his trailer around all the cars in the parking lot,
backing into one of the fences.
so the landscape guy, in a very nice way, told the neighbor that
he needs to use the space he pays for.
this appears to have been too grave of an injustice. without
informing any of us, the neighbor and her boyfriend moved !
so, patience won out. the boyfriend was only shacking here about
2 1/2 months. about every 3 weeks he did something profoundly
un-neighborly.
one time he bought a pressure-washer and ran the water for about
an hour and a half. (we're on voluntary water-rationing. when i wash
my truck, i use the garden hose for about a minute. when the other
neighbor washes his car, he runs the water for about 5 minutes.)
