I have an slk800 and delta tornado in the mail (think its delta) I know most mobos require you to have the 3 pin connector hooked up on the mobo, so how would i go about controlling the CPU HSFan with a baybus? Or is it even possible?

well, you can disable that in bios on most mobos too. and the tornado comes with a seperate rpm fan head for the mobo header. so no worrys there, you can hook up the power molex to anything, and the rpm goes to the mobo.

Its a little more complicated on my TT Dumb Fan 2 b/c of the multi-molex power connector that basically plugs up everything including the coolmod. Instead of using the 3-pin connector that connects to the coolmod and tailing it, I used another 2 pin connector from an older fan. I then pullled out the 3rd monitoring pin that leads to the single monitoring 3-pin mobo header (fake 3 pin connector, only 1 pin is active to the mobo) and connected it thru the 2 pin connector. Works well and I didn't destroy the smart fans connectors.
