So here is whats up:
I already have dual montiors for general use and gaming on the main lcd. In February I bought a 37" lcd tv to use primarily for watching tv on and all that. I never hooked it up top the computer or anything like that, but now I have an idea and wanted to see what would be the best way to execute this move.
I'm going to be buying the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad for PC and was thinking of getting some Tiger Woods. I thought what better way to play a game like tiger woods then to be on my 37" lcd tv with a wireless controller and using my computer as the console.
I'd never really buy an xbox 360 or a new ps3 mostly because I game on the PC the most and getting another hardware to game with will most likely not be used like it should be. I believe computer gaming to perform or outperform consoles anyways, but i'm not looking for a debate on that.
Basically i want to be like, I feel like playing tiger woods, load up the game on the computer make a setting change to get it show on the tv (maybe resolution too), and start gaming on the tv and then when I'm done just go back to the comp and turn off the connection back to my normal dual monitors.
So how can I make this kind of hookup with my pc? I already am using my video cards DVI and VGA connectors for the monitors. I could use my computers component out on the video card and use component cables and go over that way. Or is there some sort of video split I could use to allow me to get an extra vga or dvi connector or something.
I'm open for ideas and to spend a little money to get this to work, but I'm talking under $50.
What is the way to do this?
