Being on top of that list I guess I'll answer too 😛

I used to post as 'Skyclad' on a Dutch forum, it being the name of my favorite band at that time.
At one point someone said it would be fun to 'invade' ATOT as aliens, and to distinguish us we'd all have the alien avatar, and put '1uhm1' behind our names.
The Off-Topic part on the other forum was slowing it down so much (and there were a lot of racists in the end), that the computer magazine who's site it was decided to close that part down.
As I had already posted once in a while here, and was looking for another place, I frequented this place a bit more, and kinda seem to have gotten stuck here 😱

😛

Yah, SkyClad is the only invader we managed to capture

I remember the invasion, everyone was confused @ it 😀

There were one or two others who posted again a while later, but unless they changed their names they indeed left.

They left me behind to infiltrate 😉

Uhm... No clue, I only knew those guys through that other forum 😛
(Although I did meet a few guys at the previous HCC Dagen)

It started off as a spinoff from my lastname. Then, much much latter, I discovered that it's dirty words in at least five languages, and the list keeps growing.

My real name is Wolfgang Armadaus, I just picked Roger because it was the first thing that popped into my head.

*raises eyebrow in Roger's direction*

I could be Jeffrey Dahmer posting from my cell.

(At least I never changed my nick Genocide)

I am not a mechanic, I am a Automotive Technician.

Norton from the Honeymooners called himself a Subterranean Sanitation Engineer 😉

Actually they call you ScrewFace because you can't keep your deals straight.

back in the day when my family first got a computer, i was trying to think up an AOL screen name and i came up with Barman108. I got "Barman" from my real life nickname, "Bar" i got 108 from my dob 10/15/83 = 10+15+83 = 108, also it was a significant number in my favorite video game at the time, "suikoden." So i had barman108 for a while, then I i just modified it a couple years later, you know to get rid of the numbers thats in everyones also screen name.

so any nickname i use now is just a variation of barman, such as "yo barman" and "its barman"

i also had a different nick which i don't use now that much. back in the day in aol, there was a graphic arts scene where people used to hang out... i came up with the handle "dr grafix" and that stuck with everyone in the scene once i made cool neato graphics....ah the good old days

When I used to play Quake 1 online, my nick was kamikaze...everyone just called me kami though and it stuck.

Oh I don't know when I hear mechanic I think of some burley-smart-analytical-can listen and diagnose- guy.

When I hear Automotive Technician I think of some young geek working behind the counter at your local tire shop.
