Username changing....

People have been requesting that I change my name to uberdork.

If you really want a new username, check to see if it's already taken, and if not, send a polite PM to Anandtech Moderator asking them to change it for you.

Yes, it's possible. I did it Make sure the username isn't taken already, and PM the Mods and ask them to change it.

BTW if you want correct German, you'll ask for the username Ueberdork or Überdork. Don't know if you can have an umlaut in your username

Yeah, I was unclear about what I meant, besides not thinking through what I was saying. You're right. Please disregard my earlier statement.

What I really meant was, that you can't be notified via PM when your username changes, because you won't be able to login under your old username to check your PM's. But since you know your new username anyway, you can just login with it when you get your first login rejected. Your PM's won't be deleted or anything. Sorry for the confusion. I'll shut up now
