Being a police officer I was lucky to never experience anything like that. I'm curious why lethal force wasn't used, or if you would have been justified. My deparment doesn't have tazers so the next step would have been presentation of deadly and/or deadly.

Theres no shitstorm with a justified use of deadly force. The last justified killing at my department was a man that charged the police with a brick in hand.

win you get tazers new rules applu if you cann take him down with a taser do it with oyt high risk to your pardnter and yourself. I was still coles to the target for james to feeel that he needed to fire his .357

im on my last pill 🙁 went to the sprots doc he ive got a bone chip in my elbow. gotta finds out if they can cut it outs or if it will settle in my arm.
tride to see how much pain there is yesterday and did nit take paine killer on a sciale of 1-10 its a 999-10 when i move my arm.

Gotta go get somtihng more this day, my spellen was better last night and ive got clicken with my left hand doown kinda.

lol, high as a fucking kite. Glad we dont have tazers then. Using tazers to stop people with blunt objects is dangerous. Tazers work better for compliance. Whatever, I would have probably shot the guy, unless my partner was in the way of course.

Anyways, hope things turn out ok. Do you get medical leave?
 
I hope you get better soon, userman. My dad's a police officer and I would NEVER want something to happen to him. 🙁 I hope your family is handling it well.

I am back at work. Driving a desk for a wile.
Elbow is doing much better. I can move it about now. The chip has settled so they did not remove it. Looks like court will be sometime right after the first of next year.

How much longer will you be at a desk? Also, what kind of PT are you doing, if any?

Three to six months of desk driving.
I go to the doc once a week now. He has me lifting, stretching then he pokes my elbow and I go home.
Ive starting lifting weights again and i am running 3 miles every other day.
I passed the pistol quals left handed but I know that I am no where near ready to be on patrol again.

I hope that in three months time i will be ready for active patrol duty.

I guess i had fun. I am not sure. All i know is that there are somethings that I posted and did that other people laugh about..... I guess i can laugh about it to.
