User CAL and multiple devices?

Hi Guys,

I would need to access a server from 3 different co puters, obviously not at the same time. If I get a single user CAL, would I need to log out of my desktop before I can access the server from my laptop?

What is the server OS?
Normally, if it is just you, and not at the same time, then that would work.

Per User CAL
With the Per User CAL model, a separate CAL is required for each unique user who accesses a server. If a user uses multiple computers, the user can access the server from each computer using only a single CAL. However, if a different user logs on to one of the computers, that user will need a separate Per User CAL to access the server
