Is a user post filter feature in the works? One where you can avoid seeing any posts of a user, and/or any of their posts quoted. Please note I tried searching, but it found nothing.

That's awesome. I personally have the JLgatsby script on, not b/c I hate him, but b/c I think its cool! You can edit the script for any name I believe... ask notfred.
 
Every time I see someone mention this type of thing on any forum, I think of JLGatsby; he shall live on in infamy forever...
