Does anyone accept life's inherent pointlessless? Are you content with it? If so, why? If not, why?

Exactly. Everyone makes such a big deal over having meaning, and I find it quite selfish. Not in a bad way.

I just mean to say that there is a certain freedom in accepting ones current uselessness and attempting to define it as one wishes.

Obviously there are many people who have achieved true utility, but this is directed at those that have yet to reach such a state.

For example, I want to be an engineer because I believe as one Henry petroski put it, "to engineer is human."

I find purpose, meaninging, and fufillment in it, and it is all of choice.
