used ps3 value

Someone just told my girlfriend they are desperate for money and offered her a ps3 for $200 with 3 games said he purchased it recently. Games unknown and I dont know how many gigs. Bare minimum without games what would be decent price on one be? Ive been so poor lately im not up to date on any next gen systems so im sort of in the dark here. Any advice concerning would be appreciated.

Check out the wiki to make sure the one for sale has all of the features she wants.

I doubt its backwards compat which sort of sucks cause I have a bunch of ps2 games, but im thinking if we like 2/3 games I do it. Its got me thinking how much a local pawn shop would give for the games. Cause if this guy needs money this bad no chance hes got good taste in games. Cause where I live im thinking its Nascar, monster trucks, or Wrasslin games he most likely got.

If I was either in the market for a PS3 or interested in reselling it for profit, I would pounce. $200 is a good price.

i'd say it's still a good price even without the games, as long as its in good condition.
if you don't like the games, sell them and get some money back.

$200 is dirt cheap for just the console without any games. You are not going to find one that cheap anywhere else. If you want one grab it, its a good deal. If you don't like the games just ebay them.

Im sure its just some crackhead that went to high school with her back in the day. Seems like its already fell through though too bad, im sure he traded it and a bj for whatever he needed.
