Say I had $25k to get a used 3-series (or 5, but I doubt that'll happen) .. what do you think I could get? Is there a good place to look at pricing on the web? eGay doesn't seem to be very reliable ..

Umm... $25K seems like a little too much to pay for any used car. Since you're obviously a rich boy, why not toss in another $4K and get yourself a new 3-series? Or if you're willing to compromise a little bit, you can get an Audi A4 for that much.

I have a cheaper 3 series BMW...1993 318i, small 4 banger...but all I could afford..
25 grand american?..
go for a 328i or 325i, i'd say 96-97...I think...
and any modifications that are done should be done proffesionally or they will end up costing you.
Look for rear shock mounts, on top..
I bought mine a year ago, and love it..gonna step up to a 325i hopefully..

I've never bought anything from them. I've driven by their showroom a few times, I think it is off Santa Monica. They do have quite a few used cars. Though it does kinda bother me that they call themselves &quot;Beemers&quot; vs &quot;Bimmers&quot;. I always thought that &quot;Beemers&quot; referred to the motorcycles, whereas &quot;Bimmers&quot; referred to the cars.

you can get '95 or '96 M3s for $25,000.

Once again, yes, you can get a used M3 for $25K. My buddy is selling his 95 M3 with about 50K miles for about that much.
