Use own DNS or GoDaddy?

My company is having some problems with our website (hosted at our company) with our DNS and certain things. We have one DNS server here and one that replicates data to our ISPs DNS server.

Would it just be easier to use GoDaddy's built in DNS servers where I can still add my host records, mx, etc?

Is there any downside to this? The DNS server we have here is strictly for giving out the ips for our website which might be easier to manage via GoDaddy.

I'd go with Godaddy - it's one less in house service to support and manage and I think that they'd be able to handle the DNS requirements.
