Use Landline Phone through PC

Hey, not quiet sure is this is the right board to post.

I am on the phone a lot of the time at work, when I am not there are a lot of sales people around me that make noise and make me angry.

I want to find out if it is possible to use a voice modem such as this to connect the Verizon phone line in and use software such as Windows Dialer to make and receive calls. Then use in-ear earphones/mic to listen to music, receive phone calls, and block out all that useless, nonsensical noise that people make around me.

I am also interested in fancier software for this purpose (alternative to dialer) even if I have to buy it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that link, but it looks like they sell a B2B solution, not just a B2C software. Is there consumer software such as this?
