"Use centered Timings" + Crossfire = mess?

I select it but it seems it applies it to only the primary card so one frame is centered the next is stretched...

It only happens when crossfire is enabled...I've had this issue for a while but hadn't said anything about it.

Anyone want to share some light? I only have 1 display, BTW.

To clarify, my monitor is 1680x1050. Some games I want to use 1280x1024 so instead of stretching it, I choose centered timings which works normally with 1 card. When crossfire is enabled for some reason its only applied to the 1st card. Thats' why it makes it so that no stretch/stretch alternates in AFR mode.

is there any 1:1 pixel mapping on the monitors OSD??? That does the trick on my Dell. I don't have crossfire mind you but I would imagein getting drivers out of the mix would do the trick.

Also you have Crossfired X1900XTX's and you run some games at 1280x1024??

yah, 1:1 centered doesn't seem to work with crossfire (at least on mine) + Dell 2405... i suspect it's a driver issue.

I'm sort of glad someone else has my problem (misery loves company ;)) so I see it is indeed a legitimate issue.

I told ATI about it earlier today and hope they do something about it.
