Alright, so I'll engage in this debate. OK, men's primal instinct is to hunt (we'll substitute hunting for fishing in keeping with the theme). It's much more enjoyable to fish than to go to a market and buy a fish. I enjoy fishing, because I have my choice of what kind of fish I want to hook. If I go to a market, I get stale and not so fresh fish, not to mention availability of variety. Now, I've never used the bait in question, but I have baits of my own.

As far as other perceptible liabilities, in the course of fishing, I hope one is smart enough to bring safety equipments.

Let me tell ya, catching a fish is most joyous and invigorating, you should try sometimes.

I like your hunting analogy. Wild animals chase the weakest prey first, because it increases the odds of catching some dinner. If the weaker prey is acceptable to you, then that's what you'll hunt.

However, if you really want a challenge, you'll go for the more dominant members of the herd. And they're not nearly so easy to catch. Which makes dinner taste that much better, IMHO.
Not all meat eaters are good hunters, some are lions and cheetahs, while others are vultures and hyenas. The lions and cheetahs don't chase the weakest, but the tastiest.

Well... there is another side of the 'married guy' thing (at least that's my guess).
Now when you're married the woman thinks you are 'safe' to talk to and she can initiate activities and not make you think she's coming on to you.

That's very true, at least for me. When I talk with a married man, I don't feel like I have to worry so much about giving the wrong impression, because he's not going to be looking for "signals."

Yup, what I thought....... basically you would dare speak to me if I had a ring on the wrong hand, right?

Depends entirely on the situation.

I know, let's say at work or better yet a some kind of social event.

Well, I'd be careful in any case, but maybe not as careful as if you weren't wearing a ring. I'm going to assume, right or wrong, that if you care enough to wear your ring, that you're fairly comfortable with your married status. Of course, if I start getting a vibe that makes me uncomfortable, I'm going to get more careful pretty quickly.

It all makes sense.
I wear a ring on my right hand and I'm not married. I assume that is the correct hand.

Suggestion: skip the ring and just get a cute puppy and a leash. At least that way, 100% of the women attracted to you aren't sleazy.

Same thing as lying, so if you think lying to pick up women is wrong then yep..

Some non married women wear wedding or engagement rings so guys will not hit on them

Who cares if you're deceiving women who are interested in married men?

People with morals.

I thought "people with morals" were more rare than "wedding day virgins"

It's not for the same purpose, you know this.
