USC gets robbed...

i find it funny that usc's qb had better stats that palmer and isn't even in contention for the heisman.

isn't he one of the top 5 contenders?

Ill be rootin for USC over Mich and Ok over LSU

I still think they should have a playoff between the 4 top teams.... #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3 Then the winners play for the national championship

It just underscores that the BCS is just crap. Until they have a playoff, college football 'championships' remain a farce. How do we know Michigan or Texas might not be the best team right now? USC, LSU, OK, all of them should get their shot, on the field, to show who's really the top dog. This BCS stuff sucks.....

Should have been USC vs. LSU

OU should have dropped lost it in crunch time to a OK opponent

Whatever... USC dropped to Cal and LSU dropped to Florida. KSU is much better than either of those teams. OU deserves to play for the title.

Doesn't matter. He's not a senior. Only seniors win the Heisman unless they have ungodly numbers.

Man I wanted to see USC - Oklahoma so bad.... I cant believe theyre gonna be #1 and get screwed that badly

Does the Rose Bowl have a shot at picking USC vs Michigan?

Leinart's IS one of the contenders though

Have a shot? If USC is #3 since #1 in the Pac 10 and Michigan is #1 in the Big 10, its more than a shot, its a done deal. Its the way the Rose was meant to be played.

Having a National Champion who didn't even win their own conference would be ridiculous. I'd rather see USC v. LSU at this point. USC's loss was in triple overtime and LSU's loss was only by, what, 12 points. The Sooners got absolutely blown out last night by a supposedly inferior opponent.

I know it is the way the Rose Bowl is meant to be played, but I thought the BCS bowls got to pick the teams they want to play in their bowl, and I do not remember the priority rules for selection... in other words, if the Rose Bowl picks USC, could (and I'm just pulling this out of my a$$) the Fiesta Bowl pick Michigan before the Rose Bowl gets a chance to make their second pick?

You deserve a shot at the title when you've won your conference.

if you go by that, then either ALL conferences should have championship games, or there shouldnt be any championship games.

anybody care to explain to me WTF happened? this bcs stuff is really wack.
It's simple really.....

OU - 1 Loss to number 13 ranked KSU
LSU - 1 loss to number 17 ranked Florida
USC - 1 loss to UNRANKED Cal

OU also had a far better SOS than USC & LSU

The human polls are subjective.

The computer polls arent. The computers have set parameters for what a #1 team is. OU still is #1 in the computers,

3+1+.56+1-.5 (OU)

[edit] hmm Ill have to wait for the BCS numbers to come out, it will be very close between USC and LSU, both will be in around 6.5. But since ND and Hawaii lost yesterday, their SoS is dropping past LSUs and LSU is rising as well, so LSU should come out by a very small margin, probably the smallest in BCS history.

exactly. If I have to go through this month hearing about how USC was "robbed"..i'll go crazy. OU is from the Big 12, LSU from the SEC..both far superior to the whack-10. Also, losing to Cal doesn't help. OU lost to K-State..but K-state waxed Cal early this year.
