I seriously hope he does get the Heisman taken away if all this is true, Vince Young deserves it more after having to prove he was the best college player of the year since everyone thought he was good just from playing in a weak conference. And what did Bush do in that National Championship game other then try to be a hot dog and fumbling the ball away? I'm sorry, but running over defensively weak teams like Notre Dame and Fresno State don't impress me, especially when your team is full of future NFL linemen and recievers. He'll average under 20 carries a game, play behind a weak pro line, and end up being another Brian Westbrook. I loving how people hype him up almost as much as I loved everyone saying USC couldn't lose that game... almost.
people love hating teams that win, if Texas wins the next NC and reaches the NC game the year after that you will start saying how overrated they are and how your team Penn state is better. Ffcourse its the media for hyping teams but when a team wins 33-34 games in a row (and ALMOST wins the last (but for a superman type efffort) maybe they do deserve some credit
Oh I give them plenty of credit, and their recruiting tactics seem to work pretty good too.. like going to school in Southern California isn't enough incentive. I do dislike USC but mostly because I'm a Notre Dame fan, however I'm not a Texas fan in the smallest sense but since watching VY in the Rose Bowl 2 years ago I had a feeling he would be amazing in 2005 if he stuck around. I don't know how good Penn State will be after losing a whole bunch of seniors, but I highly doubt they will be in the running for a championship. Watch out for West Virginia on the rise though, that kid Slaton who ran all over that Georgia defense is only going to get better.
