USB2.0

I just reformatted back to XP from Vista and I have all my data on an external hard drive, only thing is it connects USB and I keep getting the non-fast speed (USB 2.0) error and its taking forever to transfer my 25 gb of stuff.

How do I fix this? I have an ASUS p4p800 deluxe. I also have a NEC pci to usb card, not sure what the model is though... :-\

I tried installing them from the CD, it said that I have XP SP1 and did not need to install them 🙁

Did you reinstall all the Motherboard Chipset Drivers ? ?
They must be in place before the OS is installed
