Is it possible to boot xp from a usb memory drive? This will really help me with some computers.

Ok, guess I need to be more specific as well. (not trying to hijack the thread, but better than a new one for the same topic)
My mother board has USB boot devices enabled as the first device, CD in usb CD-rom drive, no worky. My real question is, does this have to be a special CD, or is it not like the thumbdrives?

i dont see why not, i've seen instructions for booting a windows xp live cd, so why not a flash drive? assuming of course its big enough (probably >=1GB)
