USB to USB Data Transfer

I stumbled upon this link and recalled someone I know that has been looking for a simple way to transfer files between two computers. This person does not have a hub/switch/etc nor a nic in one of the machines.

Does anyone have any words of advice for either this particular piece of hardware or similar ones?

I'm sure it would work -- but if you have a USB cable, you can just use the Networking Wizard to set up a peer-to-peer network over USB. Or you could get a USB key drive and transfer the files that way. Or burn them onto CD-R/RWs...
