USB to USB connection?

I have a Cassiopeia Riva from work. If possible, I'd like to transfer data between it and other computers with just the base unit, if possible. But this has only IR and USB ports. Most computer don't have IR, but do have USB. Is it possible to make a USB to USB direct connection network?

Assume that I'll be transferring between Win98 and Win98.
