I believe it's 12Mbps. For the new 2.0 standard, it's 480 Mbps.

ok , then other question , is there any way I can connect 2 computers by usb cabel and transfer files ?

any device ?

It shouldn't be a problem since Windows has somekind of direct cable connect thing. But I believe you must go through a USB hub to be able to do this.

Or otherwise, (I'm not sure about this), you might be able to connect the 2 computers directly if you have the USB cable with the proper connectors on both ends.
