USB Scanner Networkable?

Is is possible to install a USB scanner on one machine, and then access that scanner thru the network on another machine?
 
I can't answer your question, but why would you do that? You would need to run from one pc to the other just to change the paper or what ever.
 
Well, the reason is, the only way I can use the scanner is if nothing else is on the usb bus. If I plug everything into the hub, when it goes to scan, the hub gets overloaded and everything goes dead. If I just plug the scanner and mouse into the computer, it still does it. Can't figure out WTF is going on....lolol
