I've found my problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it. If any USB device is plugged into my computer it will not boot. I can let it boot up with nothing plugged into it, and then plug the devices in and they work. I think this is a really weird problem and I know it's because of USB because I can boot it up using a ps2 set up and the mouse adapter (green thing forgot name, sorry) What do I need to do to fix it? And I'm running Windows XP pro on a dfi nf4 ultra-d. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the forums

Hmm, the only thing I can think of is perhaps you have a USB device in your boot order. Have you checked that in BIOS yet? You could even disable the "boot other device" option if you wanted to and keep the first boot option set to your IDE-0. Also ensure you have the latest BIOS for your mobo. Just a couple suggestions - good luck!

It had a setting in the bios and it said "mouse usb disabled" "keyboard usb disabled" and then i enabled them but the computer still won't boot with them plugged in.
