To help get my mind straight here...USB 2.0 is backwards compatable, yes?

Meaning if you plub a USB 2.0 device in a 1.1 inlet it will run at 1.1?

Also...

Would it work if you plugged a USB 1.1 device into a USB 2.0 inlet it would still run at 1.1?
