USB Permissions?

I put myself in group usb, but gphoto2 still does this...

root works fine though.

k i started konquerer as root and screwed with /proc/bus/usb and make it probably really insecure. any suggestions?

/proc isn't a real filesystem, you can't change rights, ownership, etc on it.

Do you have any idea what device (/dev file) corresponds to your USB device? Type 'dmesg' and look at the end of that after you insert the device, it should say something.

weird, because as soon as i changed those settings in /proc/bus/usb, it started working for me as a user....
