USB or Parallel for Canon S600?

I just pruchased a Canon S600 printer and don't know whether to hook it up using USB or parallel. I already have a parallel cabel. Is it worth it to buy a USb cable and use it? Is there anre difference in speed or anything?

parallel... save the usb port for more important things. There's been no recognizeable speed difference for me between to two options (also tried on a canon s600).

Congratulations on getting that printer though, I simply love it

If you already have a parallel cable, and you do not have additional USB hub ports, stick with parallel.
