Hello and God Bless.
I recently bought a new case and the parts being placed in it were coming from my other case. To make everything easy, I obviously removed all of the cables from everything and put them into the new case as if I was assembling a new system. When everything was back up and running, I tried to get my (Microsoft) Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse to run, but for some wack reason I had to go through the whole process of discovery and setting it up. This required plugging in an existing set (old keyboard and mouse) to do so. The existing set was PS/2. I went ahead w/ the whole procedure and I actually had the Bluetooth keboard working. Then for some reason I had to restart and when I got back to the desktop, the Bluetooth keyboard was not working. I tried pulling the USB receiver out and plugging it back in; nothing worked. It didn't even make that default sound you would usually hear when plugging something in/out. I tried plugging other USB peripherals in like my wireless gaming pad and also my UBS receiver for SD Memory; nothing worked. I uninstalled the USB Hub by going to the Windows Hardware Profiles and when restarting the USB Root Hub was picked up again but nothing works yet. I am out of ideas. I am also not able to get my secondary USB ports to work on the case. I have the cable in the case attached to the two sets of USB pins on the mobo and nothing is happening. I would appreciate and help/feedback on this issue. Is it possible this thing is just screwed? It seems highly unlikely. Thanks.
