My USB Logitech mouse works fine.

I can access the BIOS with the USB keyboard but I can't use it past the inital POST (boot by CD, F8, etc) It doesn't really work again until Windows is booted up.

When I plug in a USB jump drive (3 different PNY drives that have worked in the past), it's detected but Windows can't find the drivers. This is XP SP2. Ubuntu 8.10 detects the drives but can't fully load them either.

ABIT KV7 mobo w/KT600-8237 chipset
AMD Athlon XP 1177.8MHz
1GB PC3200 RAM

Just curious if anyone has come across this before.

Just an FWI.

There is a point where the bios is handing off control of the USB ports to the OS. Durring that time there will be a dead point where USB devices will not work. Its generally very short since the OS picks it up right away.
