i'm using win xp pro and i install the aztech turbo 100Umodem driver i can connect to internet but everytime when i shutdown the computer already and on it again, the driver will not be detected and hence the modem power won't light up and i need to install again to use. Anyone facing this problem too?

Use the RJ45 (Ethernet) port. USB is for keyboards, mice, printers, and to a certain extent external storage.

If your modem doesn't have an RJ45 port, call your DSL provider and demand one that doesn't suck.
