USB microphone $9.5 OD BM only

I found a Labtec Verse-704 usb microphone in OD clearance section today in MO. $9.5. It normally sells for $29 online.

it scaned at that price. I tried on my computer, it works great. Even no need to install any driver.

Is there any point/advantage to having a USB mic? I mean, "no driver needed"?.......come on, save a usb port and just plug the darn thing into your sound card....it has a deticaited plug for it for gosh sakes!!!

Well USB hubs are pretty cheap now too. I have a Plantronis DSP500.. frickin expensive. I don't see the point with a USB Mic tho.. USB Headsets make some sense.. considering that you need to use up the line outs for your headset instead of ur speakers if u don't get USB.. neway it's late and i'm not making sense anymore 🙂 But that's a pretty good deal.

well, I have not had a sound card in my computer for over three years! I have the Microsoft DSS80 digital USB speaker system, so this would be good for me, but I really have no use for a mic 😕
