I just got a 256mb USB flash drive. anyone know a way to make it password protected?

Did you not get any software with the drive. My Sony microvault came with the necessary software.

Is it possible to format it as NTFS and use its encryption?

No software just the drive its a PNY 256mb Attache, its not a white box item but retail staples had them on special friday.

Some thumb drives have the ability to password protect, some don't.
