USB Controller (!) shows up when installing HP PSC750 on WinXP

anyone know why? i've even installed the newest stuff off the hp website

this is really starting to bother me

i installed a HP V40 on another guys machine and it did the same thing

so i think its something to do w/ the hp software, but that doesn't make much sense
