USB boot option in BIOS

I would assume so. I have a relatively (1.5 year) old MSI motherboard and it supports this.

i must admit after thinking it through, that unless you were to clone a fresh xp setup onto it with drivers and all for a quick recoverydisk it would be slow and windows would not run well
edit: but secure imagine taking xp to work with you leaving nothing but storage drives behind. better than a password
