USB Auto Backup

Hello, I am trying to figure how to make a usb auto backup my mac.
I want it so I can plug it in and it will auto backup all my photos in my iphoto.
I dont want it so i have to drag folders i just want to be able to plug in and wait.
If you know how please respond, Thank you.:biggrin:

You might get better help in the All Things Apple forum.
I promise somebody out there has written software specifically to do what you want.

If OP just wants to back up their Mac to a USB external drive, then that's built in to the OS, it's called Time Machine. First time the drive (of sufficient size, I don't think an 8GB stick would work) was plugged into the Mac, it should have popped up to ask if they wanted to use it for Time Machine.

If OP wants to back up their iPhone to their Mac over USB, then that's ALSO built into the system, this time in iTunes.

If OP wants to back up their Android device to their Mac over USB... I can't help them, maybe All Things Apple can.
