USB and Win NT

Ok I know that NT doesn't support usb, I was wondering if i would be able to charge a usb powered device (mp3/flash drive) on the usb port on an nt machine. In other words is power going to the port all of the time or is it as a reponse to the device?

My next question is that I heard there was a thrird party addon to give limited usb NT support (PDAs and Such) does anyone know the name?

Thanks

I think power would still be going to the port anyway...best way of finding out is to just plug in and try!

I did encounter a USB Zip 250 Disk Drive running on Windows NT4....not sure how exactly but I am guessing that Iomega ship some sort of USB support emulator or something with the drivers?
