USB 3.0 Hub

I'd like to get a usb 3.0 hub. I imagine even the cheapo ones in 2.0 by now perform about as good as the expensive ones, but for 3.0 are there any brands I should look to or avoid?

I have an Amazon Basics USB 3.0 hub and it works perfectly fine. I get max transfer speeds through it when needed.

It works well, the dedicated charging port is nice too. However, it refused to work with the extension cable I bought. I never did figure out if it was just the cable or not, I just put my computer on top of a calculus textbook so the cable reached to the desktop.
