USB 3.0 header + USB 2.0 ports?

I recently got a case (Thermaltake Q) and am also planning on soon getting the F1A75-I. The board has 2 USB 3.0 headers and the case I have has only 2.0 ports. On top of that, the front panel I got with a 2.5" HDD bay slot only has a couple of USB 2.0 ports. Will the ports plug in and work? And will they be at 3.0 speeds? If not, is there any way I can get the raw cords and mod the ports so I can have that functionality? Also note that the card reader has a USB 2.0/eSATA combo port. Maybe that's not important, but I thought I'd mention it.

USB 3.0 motherboard headers are not the same as USB 2.0. The motherboard I got recently (ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3) came with a USB 3.0 bracket that could be mounted in a external 3.5" bay or mounted in a unused PCI slot in the rear of the case. Unfortunately my case has no external 3.5" bays ao I have to use a USB 3.0 extension cable to have an accessible port at the front.

What I did was use the USB 3.0 header on my mobo and it's accompanying bracket up front in my case. This was why I upgraded my case, too; knowing I'd want 3.0 up front and the ability to use that bracket thusly was a deciding factor in my case choice.

No, if the ports are 2.0, that's what you will be running at. They sell separate USB 3.0 panels that fit in an extra bay if you really need 3.0 up front. Does your board not have USB 3.0 ports in back? ...or is it not enough?

I bought one like this , that includes, 2 Nos of peSATA ports as well.
But the USB connector cable they (silverstone) have provided is for 9 pin USB 2, and not 19 pin USB 3. Is there any such exclusive 19 pin connector ? if not, how am I expected to manage this ?. I want to get a USB 3 port in the front panel using the Silverstone Gadget?

The product was not of Silverstone, but from Sedna. See the following link
