USB 2.0 to RJ-45 converter

I'm looking for a USB 2.0 to RJ-45 converter to use with my series 2 tivo with a wired network. I looked at some but I'm not sure what to look for. Any advice? Anybody have any?

Not sure where you want to plug it?

USB needs computer on the master side.

There are units that can be plugged to a computer?s USB port and provide at the other end RJ-45 Ethernet connection,

Example: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...em-details.asp?EdpNo=1030257&CatId=589

These units can only be plugged to a computer.

There are specialty designed USB converters that can be plugged to a specific hardware.

USB Printer Server is one example. However these devices are not universal, I.e. USB printer server can only be plugged to a printer and it is compatible with other devices.

if you have a microcenter nearby....get the hawking usb 2.0 - rj45 adapter. They are only 12.99 locally in ohio. It is the cheapest I have found and they work with my toshiba tivo unit.

There is a Linksys one that I bought for mine that runs fine. I paid $30 for it 6 months ago at Wal-Mart, but only because I didn't have time to priceshop.
