usb 2.0 drivers?

I just installed an Iogear usb 2.0 PCI card. XP loaded it's own drivers and didn't prompt me for the install CD. What I'm wondering is if XP's drivers support USB 2.0 or whether the drivers it loaded will just function as USB 1?
 
SP1 for XP has support for USB 2 and the drivers it will load are fine. So just make sure you have XP SP1.
 
if for some reason you find that the usb 2 drivers arent installed correctly, or you want to be sure, go into hardware manager and uninstall your usb drivers completely and then install them again once SP1 has been downloaded, my usb drivers did not auto update to usb2 automatically but this fixed the problem
