I don't think there are any usb 2.0 compatible peripherals out yet. Have a happy new year. :)

There are USB 2.0 hard drives and CDRW's out now and have been for months.

I knew I was going to get myself into trouble giving an answer to this question. :eek::eek::eek:

Oh well in my defence I was thinking more along the lines of scanners, printers, webcams and such which I have not seen.:confused:

Epson model 2450 is $399. I't USB 2 + Firewire(best of both worlds).
About bandwidth: If you scan something at 1200 dpi, your image could be 200Mb. USB 1 will choke on this.
I could be wrong though.
