USB 2.0 and Windows2K

if you don't want to get sp4 then do this:

you need to get the win2k usb2 driver from the windows update site.
in the left pane,highlight personalise windows update then check the box for display the link to the windows update catlog>click save settings
in the left pane highlight windows update catlog>find hardware drive updates.
manufacturer is microsoft. under words type usb >search
you only want the usb driver version 5.1.2600.0 108kb
 
I have run USB2 on W2k with only SP2, don't know if older SP are still available. Also have a machine currently running with SP3, some people are having problems with SP4.
