RIP, but he was foolish.

Most white men would never do that.

He died of cardiac arrest, not only the burns. He couldn't be revived.

also this might give insight into Biden's lack of sense in believing that he has no authority to hamstring Israel's ability to continue the terrorism.

It's not his country. He's an AMERICAN president. He can veto legislation on aid to Israel, but the Jew lobby wouldn't allow that.

Your racist ignorance is unwelcome here.

Because the US has been an ally of Israel for decades, although the money should stop going to them.

No , he died of the burns. A3rd degree covering 30% of the body causes burn shock, from the rapid hypovolemic condition in the body’s vascular tree (blood vessels). The shift of fluid from the vessels into the extracellular space (the body tissues) causes very decreased cardiac output…not enuf to sustain life.

The body shifts the fluids in an attempt to mitigate the burn’s effects. And if the burn victim lives long enuf, you can watch them weep from their burns…a constant thing.

Add to that the massive shift of minerals (sodium, potassium for example) and the cardiac function is further compromised.

But make no mistake, the burns caused whatever is determined as cause of death.

Fuck me… I didn't need that reminder of the two weeks I spent in the Galveston Texas hospital burn unit! 🙁

Mr. Bushnell deserves all the respect in the world. I am very sorry this happened and I am very sorry for what he was going thru. It is a terrible state in Gaza and Mr. Bushnell did what he thought would bring more awareness to this situation. There was a letter of possible deployment for him I believe, where he might have been sent to Israel. I have seen this but don't have too many details. He felt very much conflicted in serving in the US military, which enables Israel to carry out this genocide.

But hopefully this brings awareness to the genocide in Gaza that Israel has been doing for much longer than before Oct 7.

Many people in the world are honoring Mr. Bushnell.

While I disagree with Aaron Bushnell's politics,

Aaron Bushnell was a patriot, a hero, and a true American who served his country to the end with great honor.
